A Letter to the Women I Build With

This one is personal. But not private.

I want to talk to the women I work with. The ones I've built alongside for years. Some for decades.

You know who you are.

You're the one who picks up the phone at 6 AM. Who walks the site before anyone else shows up. Who reads every line of the work letter because thoroughness is your standard.

You're the one who manages the GC, the landlord, and the architect. The store team and the regional director. All in the same week. Sometimes on the same call.

You're the one who shows up the same way every time. Same respect for the superintendent as for the CEO. Same energy on day one as on punch list day.

I've worked alongside women like you for 40 years. Across customer-facing environments. For some of the most recognized brands in North America.

And the pattern is clear.

The projects that run smoothly have you in them. The teams that stay connected have you holding them together. The builds that open on time have you behind the coordination.

You lead with trust. With consistency. With follow-through that makes people want to work with you again.
