The Room Where Retail Gets Built

Last month I rode a zip line over a Florida swamp. My heart raced the whole way down. That same week, I met leaders from national retail brands. Both moments happened at BuildPoint, and both mattered.

BuildPoint gathers the people who build retail. CPMG fills the room with peers. Retailers, builders, designers, and suppliers all show up ready to talk. CPMG plans every minute with intention. Rich said it best. BuildPoint feels like a curated room of friends.

Retail keeps building. New stores open across the country. BuildPoint puts strong brands and strong partners in the same room.

We show up for the conversations. We meet in boardrooms and one-on-ones. We trade ideas on remodels, rollouts, and new builds. We learn from people who run hundreds of stores. The content sessions teach us something fresh each year.

We also show up for each other. We refer good people to each other freely. Some conversations turn into projects, some into referrals. All of them make our work stronger.

This year we framed our presentation around one idea. Every store is a stage. The customer is the audience. Opening day is opening night. We called it Back to the Blueprint. We named each act after the work. The Show Must Go On. Curtain Up. Built for the Spotlight. The room stayed with us the whole time.

We sent everyone home with a gift.

The best part came after hours. We zip lined as a group. We shared a luau on the beach. We even met some Florida wildlife. We swapped stories about projects and family. We laughed late into the night. That is where trust grows. You partner more easily with people you actually know.

We are already planning for BuildPoint 2027 in Atlanta. If you build or run physical stores, come find us there. Trade ideas with people who get the work. Walk out with a stronger network and a few new friends. That is the whole opportunity, and we are glad we took it.

Thank you to the team at CPMG for a first-class event.
